Nutrition & Health

Female physiology is unique, but unfortunately much of nutrition and exercise science has been solely focused on male data. This misrepresentation of females across science has led to ignoring the unique differences women possess such as our hormonal cycle and listening to how to nourish our body rather than starve our existence on so many levels other than weight on the scales. Expect to be enlightened with the science behind how amazing your female body is, how to honor your hormonal superpowers and as they fluctuate over the lifecycle and learn to nourish yourself fully so you can see your life performance thrive. 


Yoga has experienced extraordinary growth in recent years for many good reasons. The physical benefits include flexibility, strength, improved bone density, muscle tone, joint health and enhanced blood and lymphatic circulation. Emerging research is further revealing many more positive benefits in the areas of weight loss, diabetes, nervous system support, pain management, high blood pressure, the menopause transition and support for the immune system. Your experienced yoga teacher Suzie will gently guide you through a variety of practices including vinyasa, restorative, breath work and yoga nidra. No yoga experience is necessary. 


The synergy between nutrition, physiology, health, yoga and mindfulness are rich and deep. (Re)Treat to Revitalise combines these together as complementary modalities to expand, deepen, and integrate your everyday experience. Our goal is to have you leaving with the knowledge, wisdom and tools that you can take forward into your every day life to achieve your health and wellness goals far beyond your 4 day immersion and continue to reap the benefits of sustainable change as well as have our teachings flow on to positively impact those around you.

The retreat will be held at Blue Green Sanctuary. Nestled in the hills just twelve minutes outside Byron, this space invokes pure beauty flowing over five acres of paradise. A retreat haven. Handcrafted and built with love, the 3 villas on the property each with their own pool and sun beds are unique in design using raw and recycled materials, creative, stylish and LUXURIOUS, each offers a selection of accommodation options. You will feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive. The property is surrounded by rolling green hills, a lake, a yoga shala, infrared sauna, cold plunge pool and fire pit with plenty of space to wander and reflect. 6am: Morning yoga in open air studio facing the lush gardens.

7.30am: Breakfast - enjoy a nutritious and delicious buffet.

9am: Educational nutrition workshop.

11am: Free time.

12.30pm: Lunch.

2pm: Restorative yoga session - ease the mind, bring the body into balance and soothe the soul.

3.30pm: Optional practical nutrition or wellness activity or quiet time.

6pm: Dinner.

7.30pm: Guided group discussion and reflection.

The location and facilities were top shelf, the food was an absolute standout - Aja is not just a chef but an artist. The nutrition and fitness advice given so generously by Ange on how to build your plate, what foods produce the best results around training and how to eat a well balanced diet without ever dieting is pure gold. The yoga and reflection times were so relaxing and the icing on the cake were the 11 other exceptional women that you got to share it with.

There were laughs, there were tears, we worked out together, shared deeply together, we bonded over the campfire and inspired one another. All combined left you feeling well nourished in mind, body and soul. When can we do it all again?"

Ange specialises in understanding the demands and unique physiology of the busy mid-life woman with her evidence-informed, empathetic and holistic approach to supporting your changing hormones and reducing your waistline to optimise your existence, well beyond your size. 

She has been immersed in the fitness and nutrition space for over 20 years on a mission to un-complicate nutrition, help women understand and reconnect with their bodies, give you permission to eat and to put science-based professionalism back into how to do it, to lead the high performing midlife you deserve.


Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher - Social Worker (MS)

Suzie spent a decade working in the corporate world, climbing the ladder, trying to fall pregnant and feeling very tired and overwhelmed - all the time! She went to yoga to try something new and it opened up a whole new way of being and living. Over the next decade, Suzie dived into a new career direction as a social worker, became a yoga teacher, has 2 children and is learning that presence is the key to joy and fulfillment. Suzie believes that all the answers to our questions and problems lie within ourselves if we stop and take the opportunity to listen and connect. She is passionate about helping women to reconnect with themselves, nurture their creativity, and rediscover their desires and dreams.

Aja's travels and love for nature has formulated her unique artistic style of cooking. Inspired by Ayurvedic medicine, rich spices, and exotic tropical fruits, she embraces traditional cultures and cuisines while combining revolutionary and innovative techniques into her dishes. Aja's cooking is not only about eating, it's about the process of growing, healing and nourishing the midlife woman. She works in the synergy of nature combined with nutrition science to create nutrient-dense food that embraces radiant health, sustainable preparation, and holistic living.

The final payment will be due by 22nd July 2024.



Ideally, twin share options will be for people who know each other (definitely for the King bed share options). For the rooms that have King single bed options, these could be shared with new friends.



The $500 deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another person.

Once the final payments are made (due 22nd July 2024) if the attendee can no longer attend, the ticket is transferable.

"To start with, I had no idea what to expect from the Retreat to Revitalise. What I was looking for was a few days away to re-group and unwind from the everyday busy life of a working mother. What I actually experienced blew me away! It delivered so much more than what I thought I needed.

From the moment I walked into the Welcome Session I knew I was where I needed to be. I’ve been to a lot of conferences and done some retreats before, but never have I walked into a room where I instantly felt that I was amongst the most amazing women, and they were all on exactly the same page as me. They saw me, and I saw them.

Every nutrition session was instructive, informative and affirming; building from the foundation upwards to provide a road map of supporting my body to be at its best through midlife and beyond. The yoga and reflective sessions complemented and built on each nutrition session seamlessly. By the end of Retreat to Revitalise I had gone through a journey that stripped away the blinders holding me back and re-directed my attention back towards the knowledge and actions that are now building a strong, active, mindful and healthful middle chapter of my life."
